History of the Foundation
Promised Land Foundation was established in 2022 by Tim and Heather Peloquin, inspired by their Christian faith and a shared desire to bring meaningful hope to impoverished children and families in Africa.
What began as a commitment to serve those less fortunate has grown into lasting relationships with dedicated Christian ministries in Malawi and Zambia. Through these partnerships, PLF has helped provide food, education, clothing, medical care, and other essential assistance while sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
From the beginning, our approach has been personal. We believe in working alongside trusted local ministry leaders who understand the needs of their communities and are committed to making a lasting difference.
As we look toward 2027, PLF is entering a new chapter, concentrating its resources and efforts on its longstanding partnership with Pastor Mac Kafunya and Hope for Life Ministries in Dedza, Malawi.
Our mission remains rooted in the same promise that inspired our beginning: to enrich the lives of the less fortunate with meaningful hope.
A Little Goes a Long Way
At Promised Land Foundation, we have witnessed how even the smallest acts of kindness can bring meaningful change to the lives of impoverished children and families.
For those living in poverty, something as simple as a nutritious meal, school supplies, clothing, or access to medical care can make an extraordinary difference. What may seem like a modest gift to us can provide encouragement, opportunity, and renewed hope to someone facing tremendous challenges.
Through our trusted ministry partnerships, we strive to ensure that every contribution is used purposefully and compassionately, reaching those who need it most.
100% of all funds collected go directly to the people we serve.

Meet Pastor Mac Kafunya
Pastor Mac Kafunya is the founder and leader of Hope for Life Ministries in Dedza, Malawi, and a dear friend and trusted ministry partner of Promised Land Foundation.
Through his leadership and the dedicated efforts of Hope for Life Baptist Churches, Pastor Mac has devoted himself to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ while addressing the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children, impoverished families, and struggling communities.
Our relationship with Pastor Mac has grown through years of friendship, shared faith, and a common commitment to serving those less fortunate. His understanding of the challenges facing families in Malawi, together with his compassion and dedication, has been instrumental in guiding our ministry efforts.
As Promised Land Foundation enters 2027, we are grateful to continue working alongside Pastor Mac and Hope for Life Ministries, strengthening opportunities for education, essential care, spiritual encouragement, and sustainable community development.
We believe that lasting transformation begins with trusted relationships, shared faith, and a willingness to serve others with love and compassion.

Each member brings valuable experience, perspective, and a heartfelt desire to improve the lives of impoverished children and families. Together, we seek God's guidance as we work to fulfill our mission and create lasting opportunities for those we serve.
Timothy A. Peloquin
President and Founder
Tim is a longtime New Hampshire resident whose Christian faith and desire to serve others have guided much of his personal and professional life.
After a successful career as a Licensed Land Surveyor and owner of Promised Land Survey, LLC, Tim retired at the end of 2025. His involvement in Christian missions began in 2003 and has since included dozens of visits to Africa, particularly Zambia and Malawi since 2017.
In 2022, Tim and his wife, Heather, founded Promised Land Foundation, inspired by their shared desire to bring meaningful hope to impoverished children and families.
Through his longstanding relationships with local ministry leaders, Tim remains personally committed to serving vulnerable communities, sharing the love of Jesus Christ, and creating opportunities for lasting change.
Heather L. Peloquin
Co-Founder
Heather Peloquin has dedicated nearly four decades to caring for others through her work in nursing and holistic healthcare. As a Registered Nurse, Doctor of Natural Medicine, and owner of Back in Thyme Wellness, her passion for helping others extends beyond healthcare and is deeply rooted in her Christian faith.
Heather believes we are called to demonstrate Christ's love through compassion, generosity, and service. As co-founder of Promised Land Foundation, she is grateful for the opportunity to bring hope to vulnerable children and families, believing that even the smallest acts of kindness, offered in Christ's name, can make an eternal difference.
David A. Lobley
Vice President
David has a lifelong passion for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and serving others through Christian ministry.
While attending college, he participated in a basketball outreach mission in Africa, where he helped present the gospel to hundreds of young people. That experience strengthened his commitment to international missions.
Professionally, David enjoyed a successful career in corporate talent acquisition and human resources before retiring. He holds a bachelor's degree in Human Resources and an MBA.
David and his wife reside in New Hampshire, where they raised their three daughters.
Alice Corbett
Board Member
Alice has devoted much of her life to Christian education, music, and missionary service.
A graduate of Pensacola Christian College, she operates a piano teaching studio and serves as an accompanist and singer in her local church.
Alice and her husband, Jack, have been actively involved in Christian missions, supporting missionaries and participating in ministry opportunities in Africa.
Her love for children, Christian education, and sharing the gospel reflects her heartfelt commitment to the mission of Promised Land Foundation.
Scott M. Coulombe
Board Member
Scott brings extensive experience in commercial and residential construction, business ownership, and international project management to Promised Land Foundation.
Throughout his career, he has managed major construction projects, including international assignments following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. He currently serves as a director with a national design-build contracting company.
Scott holds a degree in Civil Engineering Technology with a concentration in Architecture from the University of New Hampshire.
A committed Christian, Scott desires to use his professional experience and personal faith to help create meaningful opportunities for impoverished communities.
Tracy Coulombe
Board Member
Tracy brings a strong background in accounting, business, and community service to Promised Land Foundation.
A graduate of the University of New Hampshire's Whittemore School of Business and Economics, she has applied her professional experience while raising her family and remaining actively involved in her community.
Tracy attends Calvary Bible Church in Derry, New Hampshire, and participates in several local charitable and community organizations.
She and her husband, Scott, share a commitment to Christian service and helping others. Tracy enjoys hiking, running, paddleboarding, skiing, and spending time with family.

A Firm Foundation
Promised Land Foundation was born from a simple belief that God calls us to love and serve others, particularly those facing poverty, hardship, and uncertainty.
When we established the foundation in 2022, we could not have imagined the relationships, opportunities, and blessings that would follow. What began as a desire to help those less fortunate has become a journey of faith, friendship, and compassion.
Through our experiences in Africa, namely Zambia and Malawi, we have witnessed both tremendous hardship and extraordinary resilience. We have come to understand that meaningful hope is not measured simply by what we give, but by the lives we touch and the relationships we build.
As we look toward the future, our prayer is that Promised Land Foundation will continue to be a faithful instrument of God's love, bringing encouragement, opportunity, and lasting hope to the children and families we are privileged to serve.
